Book Summary

During the spring of 1966, the author faces the challenges of student teaching, college graduation, job search, and the military draft. With no intention of serving in the armed forces, he wants to start his teaching career and begin graduate school. However, he is pressured by the military draft to serve his country. The war in Vietnam is escalating and the number of men being drafted is increasing. What should he do? Enroll in graduate school, seek a job, seek a deferment, join the military, or run to Canada?
